when I was young I wanted the skill to do this.  Now that I have the skill, the problem is the time and money to buy materials. :(

...: Obligatory Super Bowl Commercial Post

tinahenry:

Like so many others today, here’s a list of my favorite/least favorite commercials during yesterday’s game. I went a little overboard and the “read more” simply will not work for me today. Apologies.

Happy Icon hunting for Web Design

searching for good references of icons for links (tumblr, facebook, behance, etc) is kinda difficult if you don’t want to have to edit it yourself and deal with all those shitty pixels that seem so much more obvious when editing a photo.

Instead of worrying about those things, this site offers Icons in pdf format with transparent backgrounds for direct download.  Also, it allows you to choose the size you download based on pixel size which is oh-so-useful!

Happy Icon hunting!

A Monologue by Comic Sans

artbysteve:

Still a hater of not a fan of Comic Sans, but this was hilarious.

lololololololololololololol

Permalink Steven is a friend in my art classes and we had recently watched a seminar on a guy drawing portraits on the tablet.  None of the portraits were very good (personally) but it inspired us to sit around and start making portraits of each other instead of doing our work.
This is my interpretation of Steven. :)
